The interest in web development, marketing, and e-commerce persisted, and in 2015, Martin founded the web agency Empire. Today, Empire is comprised of a cohesive team of experts in various digital fields, and they proudly label themselves as a full-service agency.
Empire believes that a customer aptly described the agency’s advantages and how they differ from other web agencies: “We are extremely satisfied with Empire, who undertook the task of rebuilding our entire webshop. It required custom solutions that most agencies we spoke to couldn’t assist with. However, Empire handled it brilliantly. We now work continuously with Empire for updates and various marketing campaigns.”
(Templ) has faster and better support and performance, as well as a more modern interface that saves time and provides more opportunities for us, who have multiple clients under the same roof.
Empire discovered Templ when a client was planning to launch a website internationally. During the development of the website with the previous web host, they noticed a significant deterioration in the speed of the e-commerce site. Martin explains, “We did everything we could to optimize the loading time but were still not satisfied. That’s when we contacted Templ, who helped us with the migration and database optimization. We were satisfied, the client was satisfied, and now we are gradually migrating all our clients to Templ.”
Performance was the actual reason for choosing Templ, but Martin also appreciates the support and the Templ dashboard: “We appreciate the personal support and the simplicity of Templ’s dashboard, with features like staging environments and quick deployments.” Empire is particularly fond of a feature that allows them to log into the WP-admin directly from the Templ dashboard. Martin explains, “We love Templ’s token login, which gives us quick access to the WP dashboard. But also, the ease of creating and accessing FTP and staging environments. This is probably what saves us the most time compared to other web hosts.”
A customer’s site hosted with an external IT provider went from 27 seconds of loading time to 1.3 seconds. I think that says it all.
Security is, of course, another incredibly significant aspect for a web agency, perhaps even the most important one. Just like in many other offices around the world, Empires’ employees frequently discuss the state of the world and how future hacking and cyberattacks will unfold. Martin elaborates, “With managed hosting, we reduce the risk of being hacked through shared servers. We also have our own space on the server, which contributes to a stable, controlled, and optimized performance that benefits everyone, from site owners to visitors and search engines. So, according to our own analysis, managed hosting will eventually take over.”
Empire has a promising future ahead. Templ wishes them the best and looks forward to a continued fruitful collaboration.
